CRANES AND MEZZANINE FLOOR / INTERMIDIATE FLOOR
CRANES IN BUILDINGS
AASHI Pre-Engineered Buildings can be designed to accept most types of crane systems such as EOT, Monorail, Under-hung cranes and other load carrying devices like conveyors etc. These can be designed to support any required crane system. Generally, overhead travelling cranes up to 25 MT are supported on brackets. For higher capacities, an independent support system is provided.
Crane support for overhead travelling cranes includes brackets, beams and bracings.
MEZZANINE FLOOR/INTERMIDIATE FLOOR IN BUILDINGS
Intermediate mezzanine floors are possible in metal buildings. Mezzanine floors can be provided in complete or partial area in pre-engineered buildings to suit loading requirements for office and storage. Standard Mezzanine Floor Systems consist of galvanized profiled steel deck, joists, beams and intermediate support columns. Main beams span in lateral directions and joists in longitudinal directions bolted to the top flange of beams.
The applied load and support column spacing affect the economy of the mezzanine floor. Multi-level equipment platforms, catwalks, staircases etc. can be accommodated, if complete data is available.
